The Neighborhoods

Beginning in September of 2020, The Dallas Violence Interrupter Pilot Program began to initiate its efforts with four targeted neighborhoods as the focus:
The four neighborhoods were strategically selected as they were designated as hot spots for crime based upon research efforts by Dallas Police Department. The bedrock of the program model was based upon the proven Urban Specialists/OGU model coupled with the utilization of key influencers from within the communities being served as violence interrupters.
